2 rooms available on the best street in Oxford!

Please take the time to read through this whole description so you can get a feel for how we are as a house :)

We are looking for two new housemates in this wonderful house on the best street is Oxford. Two of our lovely housemates are leaving the house after many years to move in with their boyfriends (ew).

We are three working professionals in our late 20’s and early 30s from all different places around the world; Taiwan, Morocco/Lebanon and New Zealand!

We are a group of friends who intentionally like to spend time together (house dinners, go out to eat, watch movies, host friend get togethers) but we’re also all independent people with full, busy lives outside of our house. We generally don’t hold huge parties (think huge uni parties, lots of booze) or anything as most of us have passed that stage of our lives and are a bit more calm 😀

As a house, we value communication and cleanliness. With emphasis on these two values, we feel the house is a peaceful and healthy environment for all of us!

We have a cleaning schedule where one person is scheduled to clean the house every week (of course if you are away or unable to clean your week you can swap with another housemate!). We also work hard to make sure we clean our dishes after meals and not leave them in the sink, as that just leads to resentment and a gross kitchen!

In regards to communication, we have a whatsapp group where we discuss house things and keep each other updated.

The house is owned by a private landlady who genuinely cares for the house. The house is on a joint contract so we all as a house are responsible for splitting the rent and paying it on time. The two rooms that are available are approx. £575 to £600 per month excluding bills (bills include council tax/ electricity/ water/ gas/ wifi).

We are looking for two people who are in their late 20’s or early 30’s, who are working professionals and who feels they would fit in well with our house vibe. We strongly prefer to have a woman, but are open to men if they are the right fit.

Both rooms are available from June 1st, 2026.

1st room (£575): Has a lovey balcony!

2nd room ((£600): Has no balcony but an amazing storage bed!

Magdalen is an amazing road to live on! Lots of amazing cafes, shops, river on one side, downtown on the other. Feels very alive!
