Double room in detached house

I have a double room available in my three-bed detached house in the village of Ewelme. It’s a peaceful location but still well connected — Cholsey and Didcot Parkway stations are both a short drive away with direct trains to Oxford, Reading and London.

The house has been fully renovated over the past couple of years, so everything is modern and in great condition. There are still a couple of smaller projects left to do (a downstairs bathroom and some decorating), but the main work has already been completed.

The room is a good-sized double and you’d be sharing the main bathroom with just me. There's also a separate room with a desk and chair to work from if you work from home.

The house has a lovely garden and parking available on the driveway for up to 4 cars. Shared areas include the kitchen and living space, and it’s very much a home rather than a house share — relaxed, tidy and comfortable.

Ewelme has a small village shop for the basics, and Benson is about a 5-minute drive away where you’ll find a Co-op, doctors’ surgery, pharmacy and other amenities.

A bit about me: I work in HR and spend three days a week in the office, usually getting home around 7pm on those days. I’m generally fairly busy at weekends but enjoy a friendly, easy-going home environment.

I also have a cat called Tigger. He’s a little shy when meeting new people but quickly becomes very affectionate once he gets used to you :)
