Room in large house in the countryside

Double en-suite room available in a large house where I live with my elderly mother who is in seperate self-contained wing of the house with her French Bulldog.

Since my 21 year old daughter moved out I pretty much have the rest of place to myself but she does still visit frequently along with my elder daughter (both Italian), I also have friends for lunch or dinner occasionally.

The available room is a very large double with an almost as big en-suite bathroom. There is a walk-in Aqualisa power shower and loads of wardrobe space.

The kitchen would be shared with me, along with the large lounge with open fire and huge TV, a dining room and another room which I currently use as my office.

Fast internet, Netflix, Mubi, Amazon Prime and all the usual technology stuff - largely insisted upon by my daughter when she was living here.

Basically there isn't really much the house is lacking and any prospective tenant is unlikely to be disappointed with the facilities!

The house has a huge garden with large dining table, BBQ, table tennis table and sun loungers for the summer. It's a great place to be when the sun shines.

I work from home some of the time so have a room I use as an office and there is plenty of space in this room for another desk if need be.

I have not shared a space with anyone other than my family for many years so not sure how it will work out but I am a pretty easy going person and if the right candidate was to come along I would welcome it.

I have wide ranging interests and a pretty relaxed and young outlook. I love to be around creative and artistic people of any age. If that’s you, it could work.

The room is possibly only available for 3 months from July since I may move out myself at the end of the year, but if not there would probably be the option to extend assuming the arrangement is working out.

The house is not completely out in the sticks but nevertheless it is countryside. You need a car to get places, although there is a regular bus to Oxford (bus stop about a 10 minute walk away).

If you are looking for a quiet retreat type place with plenty of space and all mod cons this could be the place for you.

Rent is negoitiable within reason for the right person.
