Cozy, well-loved house. Victorian terrace, 4-bedroomed house in Marston.

I want the house to be a blessing to those in it and those who visit; a place of rest and hospitality. Lodgers in the house have previously had housemate meals together, chatted a lot, prayed and had parties together. Because we pray together we would prefer Christian housemates.

Double first floor room at the back of the house with window onto garden, available from 25/5/24, £550 pcm.

Double ground floor room at the front of the house with window onto street, available from 31/05/2024, £650pcm. Warm, sunny and spacious, 3*4m.

Four large reception rooms (dining room, living room, lounge and reading room), baby grand piano, two bathrooms, lovely garden complete with apple tree and love seat.

1 mile from town centre across the University Parks and 7 min cycle from JR hospital. 5 minute walk from South Park and Headington Hill Park, 5 minute drive from the ring road. Corner shop for milk/bread and co-op for groceries in Marston. Friendly cul-de-sac with lovely neighbours.

Bills are £200 approximate, and not set. Includes 6 hours' cleaning/month and gardener in spring-autumn. Council tax band D.

I'm a GP and am the landlady of the house. My hobbies include hockey, tennis, music (singing and piano), languages, and travelling. I'm Catholic and attend Blackfriars priory. I'm planning to move away from Oxford around June 2024 and will keep a single bedroom in the house for the occasional stay.

Annie is a librarian at one of the Oxford colleges. She's also Catholic. She likes watching sport. She's quiet, neat and tidy, and very easy to live with.

We're ideally looking for a kind, clean and tidy housemate who keeps fairly regular hours. A 12 month tenancy would be better but we're open a short term let if that suits, particularly for the room available in March.
