Spacious double room available in Marston

After living here for four years, I am leaving this lovely house (and Oxford) to pursue my dream job. As a result, I am looking for a replacement in my shared-tenancy house.

My bedroom is on the first floor of a semi-detached house shared with three professionals (two men and one woman). We all have our own lives, but the atmosphere is friendly and respectful and we sometimes get together for a shared meal. We’re looking for someone who is tidy, responsible and good at communicating.

The room faces the garden and comes with a queen-sized bed, a wardrobe, a big chest of drawers, four (!) small sets of drawers, a desk, a chair, and a shelf unit. It is very spacious with plenty of storage room and floor space.

The house includes a big kitchen (equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, two ovens, a large fridge and a large freezer), a living room, one big bathroom plus a small one with toilet and washbasin only, and a small spare room with a single bed which can be used to host occasional visitors. You will have at least one cupboard reserved in the kitchen, plus one fridge shelf and freezer drawer.

The property also includes a private rear garden and a shed for storing bikes.

The rent includes all bills (gas, electricity, water, Wi-Fi and council tax - council tax band D). The house is in Marston, a 10-15 minute cycle to the city centre (along quiet cycle paths) and 8 minutes from the JR Hospital, while stops for the X3 and 14 buses are only 2 minutes away on foot.

The room is available from around 20th April, but I have some flexibility on this - I am also looking for rent in the place I am moving, so I’m keen to work with my room’s next tenant to find the best time to swap 😊
