*About the house*

There will be one double bedroom available in this 2 bed house, with shared living room/dining room, kitchen, bathroom, utility room, and garden. It's a really nice place, I love living here! It is clean, bright, and the perfect size for 2 people. Fully furnished. Magdalen Road is just around the corner, with lots of lovely coffee shops, pubs, an art studio/gallery space, bookshop, food market, vegan cafe etc!

Your room has a beautiful fireplace (it's been boxed up so you can't light a fire in it but it's a cute feature) and big sash windows. There's great storage in the cupboard and the matress was bought new last year for my current housemate. So it's only 12 months old and good quality.

*The Cats!*

There is also the added bonus of having two adorable cats to cuddle with! Mila & Henry are the best part about living here. They are indoor cats, and very pampered. There is a litter tray in the bathroom.

*About me*

I'm 28, female, single, working for Oxford University. I enjoy spending time with friends, dancing, reading, gardening, and nature. I'm vegan, passionate about animal advocacy and I'm also very interested in spirituality, learning about different faith traditions and practices. I'm happiest when hanging out with close friends, or wrapped up in a cosy blanket reading a book with a cup of tea.

I've been planting seeds in the garden this month and am really looking forward to eating my own courgettes, tomatoes, lettuce, radishes, etc! (Fingers crossed!)

*Could we be a good fit?*

Length of term:
Ideally I'm looking for someone to co-sign a 1 year lease with me to renew the tenancy of the house I'm currently living in. My landlady is in full support of this plan. :) The tenancy would start on May 1 and last 12 months. However I’m open to shorter term let also for the right fit!

Vegetarian Household:
I'd like to have a vegetarian household (no meat in the house.) Anyone regardless of general dietary habits would be welcome, so long as we could keep it veggie at home. :)

Tech in Communal Space:
I'm pretty tech minimalist and it is important to me that my housemate would not watch TV shows, movies or videos in our communal space - there is no TV in the living room for this reason.

I promise I'm relatively chill other than these two requests! I think it's good to be upfront about what I would need in a housemate :)

I'm not considering anyone with cats or dogs as pets (my cats wouldn't like that, sadly.)

*Council Tax*

I'm considering students, but only if you are happy to pay half of the council tax. :) It's council tax band C.

*Timeline*

I'd like to finalise things within the next ~1-2 weeks, so please reach out to me ASAP! The letting agency will require references and proof of financial ability to pay the rent etc, which may take a couple weeks (but hopefully this would be a tick-box exercise).
