Important re pets: I am currently fostering a tiny black cat (Velvet by name and so soft!) He's a rescue and lost his tail somehow so he has a fluffy stump that woggles, it's part of his general cuteness. You'll need to love and respect animals to live here.

If you like dogs as well as cats, that would be great - there's a possibility I might adopt a little dog (a small, senior one) in the near future, but only if you're up for that. Not everyone feels comfortable around dogs! And that's understandable.

NB I'm a gardener by trade and have just started my own food-growing business on a nearby farm. If you are passionate about food and/or the environment, that would be a bonus. River walks are a second away, north to Port Meadow or south to town. And there's a visiting kingfisher - a brilliant flash of blue as it flies past!

I usually plant up the balconies with tomatoes and/or potatoes, fruit bushes and herbs, so if you would like yours to have this, I can plant them up as soon as you arrive. (They currently just have flowers growing.)

FURTHER INFORMATION:

• Our building is fully insured, fitted with secure doors and an intercom system for visitors.

• Post boxes for residents are located securely inside the apartment block. Secure bike shed with entrance code.

• This room is for single occupancy, not for renting to a couple. (If you have a partner, they are very welcome to stay a couple of times a week).

• I am a live-in landlord, usually out at work during the daytime. Any repairs needed or light bulbs gone, I’ll sort it quickly :-)

• Very peaceful cul-de-sac. No noise problems. All neighbours are quiet and respectful.
