Double room for let

Hello!

I have a double room available at my property in Dingwall, also available as a mon-fri or part-time. I can offer a slight discount to students on placement - handy for placements at Ross Memorial. My preference is to have someone in short-term but would consider long-term for the right person.

I live in the property with my dog, who is very friendly but can be excitable and boisterous (and is allowed on the sofa) so you'd need to be a dog person! He can also be a bit barky when people approach the house/garden - we are really working on improving this, and it's not constant, but it is a work in progress so wanted to mention it in case barking is an issue for you. As well as being very excitable he is incredibly sooky and loves nothing more than a snuggle under the blanket on the couch, perfect for if you've had a bad day!

I am friendly and enjoy socialising, but also like my own space so someone similar would be brilliant. I enjoy hill walking, wild swimming, reading and gin! I work full-time and I generally stay away one night a fortnight for work and work from home/Inverness the rest of the week.

I am looking for a female to share with who is friendly, sociable, clean and respectful of shared space. The room is fully furnished (bed, chest of drawers, desk and some clothes hanging space behind the door) and you would have shared access to the kitchen, living room and bathroom. You're welcome to use all the kitchen utensils etc and will have your own cupboard space in the kitchen/bathroom. The property also has a large garden and a shed. On street parking can be quite busy, but there’s always a space nearby. The house is a 10 minute walk from Dingwall Town centre in a quiet neighbourhood. Dingwall has both bus and train links to Inverness.

I would prefer someone without a dog, but for the right person I would consider them moving in with a dog. However, this would be subject to a couple of meet-ups to ensure the pups get along. As mentioned, Arlo can be quite full-on and is an adolescent intact male, it would be great to get the opportunity to go for a walk and also see how they get on in the house before we made a decision.
