The accommodation would be ideal for two friends sharing.

In addition to the private bedrooms the flat has a large fully-furnished lounge/dining room with DVD player,, fully equipped adjacent kitchen with hi-level oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, full range of utensils, kitchen appliances with own personal cupboard space. There is an ante-room/utility area, good size bathroom/toilet with shower and a main entrance/stairs/cloaks/reception area. The flat is fully centrally-heated and hot water is provided by a modern gas-fired Combi boiler.

The accommodation is close to local public transport, on-street and off-street parking is available adjacent to the flat and close by, and there is a good selection of local shops, convenience stores, take-aways, restaurants and pubs just around the corner in Selkirk town centre. The beautiful Haining Country Park and Estate with all its public walks and amenities is located just across the road.

Please note that the third, private bedroom forms part of the owners’ private accommodation and is occupied by the owners mainly for purposes of ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the property. Although this is described as landlord/landlady live-in accommodation, the owners are away from the premises quite a bit so are looking for considerate lodgers to treat the accommodation with respect and also keep an eye on the place.

Please also note that the flat is not suitable for disabled access as the main accommodation is located on the first floor and can only be reached via the hallway stairs.
