Ideally looking for a working lodger for a lovely room in a Rural setting in north Shropshire, so you will need a car. Yet we are only 5 mins from Wem railway station where there is free parking and a 10 min rail ride into centre of Shrewsbury or Whitchurch.. so if you fancy quiet living but easy fuss free access to shrewsbury town..

Double bed with all bedding & towels provided, & laundered fortnightly, chest of draws, wardrobes ,large study desk, fantastic views, free wifi, TV.

Rent includes all bills including your washing done If required. ( I don't iron 😄)Occasionally you can have a guest stay over for right person. Shared bathroom with one person (occasionally more.. when son home from college and other family/friends stay- but there is a large shower room and loo etc downstairs too so no queuing!

We have a cat, and dogs who only come into two rooms downstairs, and we also have horses.

We are near the market towns of Wem, Ellesmere, Whitchurch and Shrewsbury, close to Sleap airfield and Shawbury RAF.

The house has underfloor heating and radiators upstairs. You will have use of both upstairs and downstairs showers, toilets, bath, and the kitchen with everything you would expect to find in a farmhouse kitchen including an Aga.
