A spacious double bedroom with built in wardrobes is available for rent in a large detached bungalow with absolutely stunning views of the local countryside. The room can be furnished or unfurnished, with shared use of large living areas/lounge/kitchen/utility room and 2 bath/shower rooms and a large extensive garden/washing line and bbq area and outdoor seating. Property is on the outer edges of the beautiful village of Compton Dundon, so own transport is essential. Ample parking is provided. However there is a local bus service if required on the main road.

Compton Dundon is a beautiful village based a few miles north of Somerton and south of Street and Glastonbury, which are both tourist hot spots due to the Clarkes Village Shopping centre and the Glastonbury Tor and Chalice Well. Compton Dundon has a very popular pub which sells a array of local brews/ciders and outstanding meals especially roast carvery on Sundays!! We also have a local church if you require a place of worship and we also have a village hall where lots of local events and activities take place for the community. We also have a local cricket team and green if you every fancy having a lazy afternoon watching the cricket. We also have events held on the village green including local fundraising events and celebrations. There is also a friendly car garage in the village that are exceptional in providing car repair services.

As two single people sharing the property we now require a third, working person, to share the property, who especially needs to be a dog lover, as there are also 2 springer spaniel dogs who live here and they make up part of the home in every way, However they are very loving and caring!. We clean as we go and tidy up after ourselves and share general chores and we share cost of essential home items i. e. cleaning products

Monthly rental is only £585 per month subject to any high rising bills, as we like to keep energy use to a minimum and rent is paid monthly in advance.

Currently living at the property is Lyn and myself, Chris, we are both 40 plus and are very laid back and work full time. We are quiet individuals and we like peace within the home.

We do require to meet you in person to ensure we all match however we do not require a deposit but we will require a reference. The rental is for a minimum of 6 months with no limit.
