Two Double Rooms for Rent in Canton

I have two double rooms available in my rented home in Canton as my housemate is soon moving out and onto pastures new as a homeowner.

The house is in the centre of Canton, and in walking distance of lots of local shops, Chapter Arts and the city centre. We have lived here for several years now and love the house and its location, but with my housemate moving out I’m now looking for someone new to move in.

The house was originally semi-furnished, however, we have now furnished the house and we are able to clear the room or keep some furniture in for you - whichever you prefer!

It is super important to me that the house feels like home, so expect nights with Netflix and pizza and procrastination coffee breaks while I’m working from home. It’s never really been a particularly party house but always up for brunch or a trip to the pub. I work for a film company in the Midlands so I am away some of the time, but when I am in Cardiff I work from home. Inevitably, I love film and cinema but also very intro trashy TV and knitting like an old lady.

The house features:
-A large kitchen/dining room
-A smaller but cosy lounge
-An extra spare room which we currently use for storage
-On street parking (most of the time, it is Canton)
-A small outside yard which we often sit out on during the summer.

Location
-There are lots of shops on Cowbridge Road East including a Co-op, Tesco, Post Office and essentially anything you could imagine from Canton Discounts.
-Bus stop to the city centre a short walk away
-We are a five-minute walk from Chapter Arts which always has something going on.
-The city centre is about a 20-minute walk away.

Cost
-The cost of the room is £385 a month with an initial £385 deposit for the house too.
-Bills on average are around £150 a month each which includes Gas, Electricity, Water, Internet and Council Tax (Band E) but I live in the hope that these might eventually go down.
