This is a fantastic modern property in central Cardiff. It’s a 10-minute walk from Capital Retail Park, situated in a quiet, friendly estate.

The house has three floors: kitchen, garage and downstairs toilet on the ground floor; large communal living room and bedroom on the first floor; and three bedrooms with a main bathroom on the second floor. The available bedroom is on the second floor and shares the bathroom with only one other room, as the other two bedrooms have en-suites.

The large open kitchen has a separate annex for further storage and second sink, and has French doors that open on to a well-kept garden which is lovely on a summer evening. There is parking for one car on the driveway, which we use a a first come first serve basis. But there is plenty of parking on the street too so we never struggle to find a space. Current tenants are Hayley (25, working at a sustainable transport charity), Rob (27, vet and computer programmer) and Adam (26, data analyst). They all work from home but each have their own desk set-up in their rooms. They are a friendly bunch who are ideally looking for another young professional to fit into the house.

Rent for the room is £280pm and utility bills are charged separately. They come to just under £90/month including council tax.
