Room to Rent in Adamsdown, Cardiff

We have a room to spare in a small terraced house in an extremely convenient city-centre adjacent location.

We're a young(-ish) couple - one freelancer/student and the other an NHS worker. We have a small room free that would be ideal for any student or young professional this academic year. All bills and council tax are included.

We're right in the thick of things on Clifton street, a vibrant, shopping road with shops for all your general essentials and groceries right outside the door. We're a 15 minute walk from Queen Street with bike rentals and bus stops right nearby. We regret there is no space for a bicycle in the house but an e-scooter would fit just fine! We'll even put up a rack for you if you want. Street parking is available on nearby roads.

The room itself is smallish but practical for a single tenant. We've had a couple living in there before but we don't recommend that; it's a single room. The single bed does expand out into a double though with some IKEA ingenuity, so you can have someone stay the night if you want!

You'll be sharing with two cats (who will want to be your friends so there's no avoiding them if you have serious allergies) and if you have a pet we're open to that! But this house is too small for a dog and has no garden or outside space. The cats are inside pets.

We're a quiet couple - I'm a student and my partner is out all day, so when we are in we like to take it easy and cook and watch TV. Sometimes we'll have people over for a game night but generally this house is too small for any kind of house-party.

This place would be ideal for anyone looking for a city-centre base they can quickly come and go from. We're right nearby the University's art buildings and it's really practical for anyone working in town so whether you are a student or a professional we'd love to hear from you. We're not career landlords, just looking to offer a cosy, nerdy, queer-friendly space at a competitive price to keep on top of the bills.
