Looking for someone to take over my friend’s tenancy for a double room in a 2-bed flat on the 5th floor of the Hayes Apartments in the middle of Cardiff.

This flat is located in the centre of Cardiff and is a less than 5 min walk from to St David's shopping centre, multiple supermarkets, gyms, bars, cafes, restaurants, pubs and entertainment venues in Cardiff city centre.

Alongside this the flat has great transport links being 5 minutes from Cardiff Central Station, Cardiff Queen Street and Cardiff Bus station.

Fully furnished double room with double bed, bedside table, wardrobe and desk.
Shared kitchen, living room and 2 bathrooms (both with bath/shower and can be used like a en-suite).
Modern kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

💷 Rent: £600 per month (£1,200 total for the flat)

💡 Bills/Utilities/Council Tax (Band F): Not included in rent.
Bills and Council tax is just under £200 per month.

📅 Move-in date: 5th March 2026

📄 Tenancy is on a monthly rolling contract (runs until further notice).

You’ll be living with just me — I’m a friendly, tidy and respectful working professional. I’m sociable but also appreciate personal space and a calm home environment.
Previously, my current housemate and I would often hang out in the living room watching TV, but since he got a girlfriend (the reason he’s moving out), I’ve gotten used to spending more time in my own room and giving them space. My partner lives in Penarth and stays 1-2 nights per week.
Ideally looking for someone clean, reliable and easy to live with who wants a relaxed, comfortable home rather than a party house.
