I moved to Sheffield 3 years ago to study biochemistry and have just graduated this summer. I am in full time work and my housemate has moved back home so a spare room in this two bedroom flat is available. All bills included (wifi is fibre optic and very fast), there is just council tax to pay separate.
I am a very easy-going person who enjoys socialising but also likes alone time (I work Monday - Friday and definitely like to just chill out on the sofa after work). My boyfriend lives in a different city so I can also be away from the flat for days at a time and you would have the whole flat to yourself fairly frequently.
Ideally I would like to live with someone who loves this cosy little flat as much as I do has a chilled out, like minded attitude. An interest in cooking would be a bonus as I enjoy cooking from scratch and a fellow foodie would be great. I am generally quite tidy (post-Mrs Hinch instagram craze!) and have a 'Narnia' for all my cleaning products.
The kitchen is modern and includes an induction hob and dishwasher. The bathroom is a shower/bath and all the rooms have been recently decorated. There is a box room at the end of the kitchen which has a spare bed for guests to stay in. There is a little back garden and a balcony connected to the living room which overlooks the city. I do have a pet turtle whose tank is currently in the living room, if you decided that this would be an issue I would be happy to consider moving him into my own room.
The flat has good transport links; is situated just set back from Park Hill flats, less than 10 mins from Sheffield train station and either tram lines (purple/blue - station and yellow line - Hyde Park stop). The 120 bus route going into town is a 2 minute walk away and stops on West st and at Hallamshire hospital.
I think the spare room would be perfect for a student or a professional who works in town or drives as we are very close to Sheffield Parkway and a 10 min drive to Meadowhall.
