Hi! I’m looking for an easy-going housemate to rent a large double room in my home in Gleadless Valley, right next to Rollestone Woods – perfect if you love nature and peaceful surroundings.

Large double with north-facing window – no direct sunlight, so it stays cool and dark in summer

Unfurnished apart from a bed, but I’m happy to furnish it more if needed (chest of draws etc)

Includes a large built-in cupboard for storage

Plenty of space to make it your own

🏡 The House:
3-bed semi with retro 1970s decor

South-facing garden/decking that backs onto woodland – ideal for relaxing or spotting birds

Functional but dated bathroom – fully clean and usable, just not fancy. Bathroom and toilet are separated.

£400/month including all bills. Council tax band A.

👋 About Me:
I'm into nature, music, films, cooking, and cycling, and I spend a lot of time outdoors or at my allotment. I work from home most weekdays, so the house is usually quiet, but I’m also social and enjoy a chat now and then — especially over a good meal or a brew.

👀 Who I’m Looking For:
Someone easy-going, independent, and happy to live in a space that’s a bit old-school but full of character. Just looking for someone chill who’ll appreciate the house and the woodland setting.
