I am looking for a chatty, warm and tidy girl to replace me in our lovely & cosy 3-person house. It’s a very sweet and charming terrace with a wholesome vibe on a quiet cat-filled street a few minutes from Sharrowvale Road. Fantastic access to Endcliffe, Ecclesall Road, Bannercross, Netheredge.. and Urban Pitta!

You will be living with Ciara (27) who teaches in a local primary school and Grace (27) who’s in her final year of her full-time PHD at UoS. Both are lovely, creative and clean! Given they are both working full-time, we are looking for someone with a similar schedule. I have lived in the house for ~20 months (it’s genuinely a lovely spot to live) but I’m soon moving out ahead of a new job in another city. I’m lining up a new tenant to move in at the beginning of April.

Some more about the house… large, light lounge with two sofas, a spare desk (if you want to WFH downstairs) and room to dry your clothes. Grace also has a dehumidifier which really helps with drying.

Kitchen equipped with washing machine, gas hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, table with four chairs, and good amounts of fridge space. (You would share a whole fridge with Grace.) We have separate cupboards/shelves for our food and then communally store crockery/cutlery/pans etc.

Great sized garden with decking, a washing line and garden furniture (we have cushions for this in the basement.) There’s an apple tree and plenty of flowers too, as well as a gorgeous view down into Sheffield city centre. In summer it’s a lovely spot to chill.

Extra storage in the basement if required.

For those who drive, there is free on street parking - no permits required. Our road is steep and one-way but you will soon get used to it (promise!)

Your bedroom… a fantastic size, large window with street view and plenty of storage. What’s included? Double bed, IKEA 6x2 storage unit, desk, grey armchair, single IKEA cube table, two wardrobes (both with hanging space), light yellow curtains (these are currently stored in my wardrobe.)

Large bathroom with bath/shower. You will be sharing this with Grace whose bedroom is also on the first floor. Large floor to ceiling cupboard inside with fantastic storage for any toiletries/makeup/cleaning products.

Bills… we currently all have different bills in our names and then use SplitWise to very easily split these each month. Grace currently has water, Ciara council tax and I have wifi, gas & electric.

Current monthly costs (bills may vary slightly):
Rent = £431
Wifi (Plusnet Full Fibre 900) = £11
Gas & Electric = ~£50
Water = £24
Council Tax = £62 (Band B)

Total Bills = £147
Total Rent & Bills = £578

You and the girls will sign a new contract BUT you are allowed to leave it at any time. Conditions: You have to give one month’s notice to our landlord, pay £50 and find a replacement tenant to fill your place in the house. Nice and flexible!
