Double room in Botanical Gardens area

I have a large room with a double bed available in my home in Botanical Gardens area for the end of July as my housemate is buying a flat.

About the house:
The house is on Thompson Road which is the road leading to the botanical gardens entrance on Ecclesall Road. It’s a really convenient location, 3 mins walk from Tesco and Boots, 5 mins walk from Sharrow Vale and 7 mins walk from Endcliffe Park, as well as the obvious benefit of being by the gorgeous Botanical Gardens.

On the bottom floor the house has a spacious living room with a large TV and separate dining room with wooden furnishings. It has a small kitchen and small garden area with a table and chairs but this works absolutely fine for two people. There is a large fridge/freezer with plenty of space. On the middle floor there is a large and light bathroom with a separate bath and shower, and there is one bedroom, as well as another room with a bed and a desk in which we currently use as a spare room/ my office space. On the top floor would be your room.

The rent is £1200 a month so split between two it’s £600 per person. This doesn’t include bills and council tax but in total those cost us around £150 extra per month so all in the house is around £750 per person.

About the room:
The room is really spacious and has a separate staircase leading up to it and a door before the stairs so it has plenty of privacy.

Since the room is bigger than mine our current arrangement is that the spare room is my study but you would be more than welcome to use it if you had guests stay

About me:
I’m Connie, 24 and moved to Sheffield in 2023 for a grad job. I work at a corporate that allows me to work from home 50% of the time. I like to keep my weekends busy with seeing friends or spending time with my partner. I enjoy running, hiking, the gym, yoga, travelling, cooking (am a vegetarian), the occasional drink or live music event and love animals (up for a discussion if you come with a pet :)).

It’s really important to me to keep a clean and cosy space that you can come home and feel relaxed in. I’m easy going - would love to live with someone I get on well with and can have a good chat or hang out with but also value alone time and tend to keep quite busy.
