Double room in village, near A14

Furnished double room

I have a semi-detached 3 bed house. one double room available, furnished or un-furnished.

I have been renting this room out for around 15 years now. I'm used to a lodger and have had all ages, sexes and types. I find everyone is different and ultimately there is no wrong or right. With everyone you find a different balance. I take people as they come.

I am a smoker, but have a no smoking policy in the house.

House is in a quiet road, but only a couple of minutes by car from the A14, so easy access to ipswich, bury st edmunds, newmarket, cambridge and pretty much anywhere on the A14/A11 corridor. Bury St Edmunds itself is only about 10 minutes away, and sainsbury's about 5 minutes. All with the advantage of a quiet rural location.

Access to a nice kitchen and conservatory, also living room and bathroom and second lounge/spare room . Plenty of off road parking, and a good sized landscaped garden, with amazing selection of plants, a stream and woodland area. Stunning in the summer.

I have a greyhound, who is reasonably sociable and very low energy. I also have a hot tub in the garden, and use can be arranged.

50 mb Wifi/broadband available. Can arrange some extra space in the loft for storage if required.

I am a professional male working for a local authority (don't hold that against me though!). Seeking employed tennants only.

I also have an allotment, which someone would be welcome to share the harvest if they want to contribute a bit of labour (don't panic, not essential though)

Village shop, pub and bus stop within 2 minutes walk.
