We have a large kitchen/diner, with a brand new microwave, washing machine, double oven, 4 stove hob and many fabulous gadgets, if you're health-conscious and like to make smoothies, juices or soups. You have your own cupboard, fridge and freezer shelves.
We have regular Tesco deliveries, so we share delivery slots for ease and pretty much look out for each other, even more so since C19!

We have a super long garden to relax in too! You can enjoy the family-sized gas barbecue, brand new outdoor furniture on the spacious patios & swing seat further up the garden to gentle away the hours in a peaceful, lush environment. Perrie (who's been with us for 2 years) and I have created a fabulous allotment at the back to grow our veggies. It also has a sunken fire fit and a large 40-degree climbing wall (my son built it during Lockdown to stay sane!)

You have a sunny south-facing bathroom with modern shower and large bath, with a separate toilet room to share with your upstairs housemates. We have just had a new boiler, so you can be assured of plenty of hot water and heating to keep you snug this winter!

My partner, Liz and I have our own bathroom downstairs, so there are never any queues! We have a 'family' WhatsApp chat so that we can communicate with ease and check when a long bubble bath soak is convenient! Everyone is very thoughtful...

We work from home, in an office at the back of the house and in my therapy room at the front of the house. We work very long hours. Up until C19 I would have said that we work away a fair amount too, but for now, that is on pause! So although on paper the house sounds full, it's actually pretty spacious as we come and go at different times and we all go with the flow as best we can..

Liz and I do ask that you are quiet during our teaching times and when I have private clients - mostly it's daytime so wouldn't affect you, but we do teach a few evenings, depending on our schedule.

I am vegetarian and would ideally like a vegetarian lodger, however, a considerate meat-eater is welcome. We're pretty relaxed at The Magic Hub - the name of our home!

I am VERY keen on clean, but otherwise pretty groovy! We have a cleaner to come in once a week so that the shared areas are kept really nice. Although, cleaning up after yourself is, of course, an assumed courtesy!

We are blessed to have a rich variety of wildlife in our garden - lots of beautiful (and cheeky) birds and this summer we've had a family of foxes visit. Very cute cubs!

Perrie and I continue to work on the garden and have created a large veggie patch at the back, which has happily flourished with courgettes and sweetcorn, tomatoes and butternut squashes! So if you like gardening, this is the perfect place to live as you are welcome to join us!

We are looking for a thoughtful, tidy, clean and happy professional that works (outside of the home) full time and is easy going and wants to relax, chill in the summer and enjoy a marshmallow by the fire in the winter.

The room will be vacated this weekend (12th Dec) then it will be professionally cleaned and enjoy a fresh lick of paint, as my previous lodger loved living with us so much, he has happily lived with us for almost 3 years. (He is only leaving because he broke his neck and is not unable to manage the stairs anymore sadly.) So the room will be spruced up, well ventilated C19 style and spotless for your arrival, anytime from the end of December.
