Male Lodger Wanted – Accommodation in Exchange for Handyman Help (Rural Setting)

I am looking for a reliable male lodger to join me in a beautiful rural location, with accommodation provided in exchange for approximately 10 hours per week of handyman/property help.

Accommodation includes:
Private double bedroom with shared bathroom
Parking space
Water/electricity/gas/broadband included.
Peaceful countryside setting
About the property:
The home is set in a quiet rural area with animals on site, so someone comfortable around animals and country living would be ideal.

Work will include:
General handyman and DIY tasks
Fencing repairs and installation
Paddock maintenance and outdoor upkeep
Gardening, mowing, strimming, and hedge cutting
Occasional general property maintenance

Candidate requirements:
I’m looking for someone who is practical, reliable, tidy, and respectful of the home. Experience with basic DIY, fencing, outdoor work, gardening, mechanical tasks, or farmhand work would be a big advantage. Mechanical and farmhand experience is preferable.
A dog may be considered upon discussion.
Additional info:
This arrangement would suit someone who enjoys country living and hands-on work.
There are many other farms locally that may have work available if you are looking to fill additional hours.

Important note:
This is a lodger arrangement, not an employment contract. Tasks are flexible and intended as part of the accommodation arrangement. Rent is partially or fully offset by agreed work hours, with mutual agreement on duties and timing.
