I live in central Farnham opposite Costa coffee and I am renewing the tenancy on September 23rd, but if you want to come in and share before or after that then it can possibly be arranged, as can short term lets. I have already secured the rent for the next six months by paying upfront to the agent.
This two bedroom penthouse apartment is spacious, 1114 square feet and very fresh and airy, high ceilings. It was brand new on the inside when I moved in a year ago, and it is in lovely condition. The kitchen is large and great. There is plenty of storage and an outdoor storeroom too for bikes etc. Car parking provision is available.
There is a nice big Samsung TV in the lounge and also a 10 foot cinema projection screen, great HiFi, great piano, fabulous sofas, generally a clean and relaxed environment with quality stuff in the apartment. Broadband is the fastest you can get in Farnham (fiber optic - you can download at 40MB and upload at 10MB - meaning HD video calls work well, as well as movies)
My girlfriend and I would like to find someone to share the tenancy with.
You would have the better bedroom with the best view and no road noise, 5 meter x 3.5 meter superking double bedroom, large enough for wardrobes, drawers, a big desk, TV and a sofa. Some furniture and TV with YouView box can be provided if needed for no charge (I have a spare set). This is a luxurious place, I'll send you a PDF if you would like to see it. The two windows in the room look out over the rooftops and hills and church tower in the distance, facing The Maltings.
I am a tech entrepreneur and I'm into product design (specifically for the elderly and disabled), art, architecture, music, monkey tennis, creativity and travel. Dani is an artist, barista, blogger, traveller and interior designer, all sorts - she's cool, very easy going and friendly. She's from Portugal but her English is completely fluent.
Dani and I are fairly calm and love cooking, tea and chatting, so feel free to drop us a line and we can have a chat and show you around :)
The bathroom is large, new and well equipped, it is always kept clean.
The bathroom typically gets used around midnight and again at 6 30 am, but your schedule can be taken into account too.
Bills are average to low for the size of property, approximately £50 per month each, since everything in it is highly efficient (lights, boiler, heating, cooker, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, clothes dryer etc).
If you want a tenancy contract (an assured tenancy agreement), and to have a government backed deposit scheme in place, then this can be arranged easily and quickly via the estate agent which manages this property on behalf of the landlord, and this legally protects you, the landlord and us from any problems - not that we expect to have any. So far our landlord has been very good. This is a fully managed property, so if any problems arise, they are usually dealt with within 24 hours of reporting it to the maintenance department.
Smokers and non-smokers are welcome. but there is no smoking permitted inside, however there is a lovely slate stoned terrace area (see photo) which is used and accessed by only 3 flats, and is generally empty and clean. Suitable for a a few plants, a BBQ and sunbathing.
There is a loft space accessible from the flat which is 1114 square feet and only for our flat to use. The loft has an access hatch to the roof which looks out over the whole of Farnham, which looks beautiful.
Dani and I are keen to find the right person to share with, not necessarily the person who will pay the most or stay for longest, and so we are open to negotiation on pricing and duration of stay.
