Two professional females (38F) and cat (15F) seeking a third professional female to complete our little home. The room is double sized and available from 11th May although it may be possible to flex the date a week either side.
The room comes unfurnished but has a lot of built-in storage. There is also plenty of storage around the house and a garage which we mostly use for garden equipment & furniture.
The rest of the house is provided unfurnished by the landlord but we have furnished it ourselves.
We have a good size garden, kitchen and living area so plenty of space to relax and chill out when not working if you don’t want to be cooped up in your room all the time.
One of us is big on gaming so spends a lot of time tucked away online. The other tends to spend more time in the lounge with wine and Netflix. It would be nice to have another person that is a bit more on the social side and willing to chill out downstairs at times.
The house is approximately 5 mins from London Road train station, 15 mins walk from the main station and 5-10 mins walk to the top of the town centre. There is parking available with the driveway generally used as first come first served and street parking which doesn’t require a permit.
Council tax is band E which is approximately £77 per person per month.
The other bills come to approximately £80-90 per person per month.
Please note that none of the bills are included in the £430 rent.
Our ideal housemate would be someone similar to us so a bit of a homebody and not a big party animal, happy to socialise but still relatively introverted. If you enjoy a glass of wine or gin then even better! 🍷
We occasionally bake so you will also be obliged to eat a slice of cake at times 😉
We do obviously have a cat and she is getting a bit old so someone used to living with animals. 🐈⬛
We can accept another cat but that is all that is allowed by the landlord/letting agents.
There is also a chilli allergy in the house so whilst it is ok to cook and eat it you do need to be considerate of how often so if you’re a heat fiend this won’t be the home for you! 🌶️
