Hi!
Sadly I'm moving out of this awesome house after 1. 5 years to move closer to a new job, which means that the aforementioned awesome house needs a new housemate to join Joe, Stu and Nat.
The House
The house is amazingly located, you can walk pretty much anywhere in central Kingston in 10 minutes. The street itself is a quiet cul de sac, but connected to a main road, and there's parking available with a residents permit. The neighbours are lovely too. At the other end of the road is Fairfield Park, and in the surrounding area you've also got several other parks close by. There's a small Tesco, a Lidl, a small Sainsburys and a huge Sainsburys all within easy walking distance, as well as other shops, gyms, a swimming pool, the local library, whatever you need. And the train station and loads of buses are close too. The N87 night bus from central London terminates round the corner as well!
It's also very important to mention that the local pub is epic - I'm going to miss it!
The house has 2 bathrooms (1 with shower, 1 with bath, both with toilets), a living room, a decent size kitchen with 2 fridges, and a garden that's great for summer barbecues. There's also a spare room, so mates have a place to stay over and you can hang your washing to dry.
The Room
The room is ground floor at the front of the house, with a bay window that lets loads of light in during the day. It's unfurnished in theory, but I'd be happy to sell on the double bed (with 4 drawers underneath), the chest of drawers and the HUGE wardrobe to the new tenant. It's a great size room, and as you can see from the photos I've also managed to fit in several other bits of furniture.
The Housemates
Joe is finishing his architecture Masters, Stu is assistant manager at one of the pubs nearby, and Nat works in film. All of them are lovely, and although as a house we don't live in each other's pockets we've had some great nights in and out together - and we've become a team to be reckoned with at the monthly local pub quiz!
The Boring Stuff
With the council tax, the monthly bill comes to £600, and we get gas/leckie/water bills every few months which don't usually come to that much each. There's Sky broadband which is about £7 each a month.
The house is managed by a local letting agent on behalf of a private landlord. They need any new tenant to provide the usual landlord/employment references, and there's a on-off £150 admin fee.
I've been really happy here. You would be too. Give me a text or a message with a bit about you, what you do and what you're into, and come and see for yourself!
