The spacious double room is at the front of the house, has ample storage space, blackout blinds, bedding and towels (if required) .

Milford has plenty of shops and amenities and is very close to Godalming. Transport links are excellent by road and rail: we have a railway station and the A3 is under a mile away.

I've been letting this room since 2014. There have been male and female lodgers of different nationalities, aged between 20 and 55. I'm not ageist and hope you're not! I'm a very young 63 year old widow and enjoy sharing my home. I'm very hospitable, trustworthy, relaxed, reliable and friendly.

My last lodger went home to Portugal in mid March (just before Covid lockdown) and I haven't let the room since. The double ottoman bed was new in January this year and the room redecorated in September last year.

I'm looking for a non-smoker and someone who will act responsibly regarding Covid-19, ideally with secure employment and who would prefer to stay for at least six months. There is no upper time limit. Shift workers welcome, medical and educational staff too. References may be required.

I look after dogs in my home during the day and on occasions there may be one or two boarding. If you don't like dogs or have an allergy to them this is not a suitable home for you!

I say "pet owners" will be considered but please note I have dogs. I can't accept cats, rabbits or other small furry creatures whether they live indoors or outside. A small dog or tropical fish will fit in well.

I rate privacy and respect very highly and would expect you to feel the same. I'm happy to chat, help you find your way round the area, share a meal or a drink, watch a film or listen to music if that suits. Equally I'm happy if you want to keep yourself to yourself or to sit quietly in the living room. I want you to feel at home.

There's a patio and large grassed garden at the back of the house.
