Double room Heaton (frequent sole use of flat)

I have a double room available in my ground floor, Tyneside flat to let in the popular area of Heaton. The bus into the City stops at the front door and we are 2 minutes from the high-street (Chillingham Road) with a choice of shops restaurants, pubs and metro link.

I live away from the area for work but will visit occasionally. As such you have the flat to yourself most of the time which is reflected in the price. You could potentially use the smaller second bedroom for occasional guests in the remaining time. You would NOT however be able to sublet the second bedroom while I am away.

As you will see from the pictures it is a home not a property developer's 'white cube' so it will depend on your taste as to whether it is what you're looking for. There is a large wardrobe and large chest of drawers in the room. Extra storage is available in the hall cupboards. Professionals/mature students or a couple would probably work best.

There is an empty garage/outhouse outside with lots of storage for extra things that you don't need daily. There are 2 bikes you are welcome to use.

There is a pleasant small south facing patio with some plants which I would need you to maintain while I am away.

No Pets please.

I would need references and a deposit of £300 prior to moving in.

Bills are NOT included in the rent. (Council tax is Band A)

The room will be available from April 1st 2024.
