Hi, I'm Dave - I'm 29 and am very outdoorsy (I love cycling / hiking), and also love cooking and chilled evenings watching films. I work from home (mostly) for a sustainable transport charity.
I had a housemate for 18 months who moved in with his girlfriend so I am looking for someone new who is friendly, sociable and tidy. Happy to consider house-trained pets.
The house is on a quiet street in Kingston Park, about 5 minutes walk to the Metro and Big Tesco, with easy access to the A1.
20 min drive or 30 mins by public transport to Newcastle city centre. 10 mins drive to the Airport.
The house has recently been decorated. The room is a furnished double bedroom with plenty of storage.
There is a shared bathroom, a modern kitchen-diner and a large living room with 55-inch TV & PS4 [Please note, no TV licence due to poor TV reception, but I do have Netflix, Disney+, etc]. Currently, I use the office room and the bedroom isn't set up to work from home but this could potentially be arranged.
There is also free off-street permit parking and use of garage for storage.
Rent is £550p/m and ALL BILLS ARE INCLUDED (gas & electric*, water, Wi-Fi and Council Tax) *This assumes non-excessive use, and please note rent amount will increase with energy bill rises, but I like to think I'm a reasonable guy so would give plenty of notice.
Finally, I'd prefer to get to know someone before committing to house sharing.
