Lovely modern home - 6.5 miles from City

Hi - I have a double room to rent which can be either furnished or unfurnished. My home is modern and has a garage, driveway, shared living room with Bose soundsystem and large TV, this room has new sofas. The house also has an attached garage which is mostly used for storage (and you can store items should you require). The whole rear of the house is made up of a large conservatory and dining area which wraps round and attaches to the garage, in the garage you will find the washer and dryer.

The kitchen includes a full set of integrated appliances (including dishwasher) as well as a brand new ‘bean-to-cup’ coffee machine.

The property is in a quiet cul-de-sac which backs onto the oldest working steam railway in the world (Tanfield Railway, runs on Sundays). There are plenty of walks in close proximity to the property and it is ideally suited to someone who wants to be close to Newcastle or Gateshead but also doesn’t want to be ‘too close’. There are several pubs, shops and restaurants only a 5 minute walk from the property and there are excellent transport links into Whickham, Newcastle and Gateshead. Sunderland can be reached by car in under 20 minutes and the A1 is under a 5 minute drive away.

Included in the rent will be council tax, tv licence, water, electricity, gas, broadband and sky tv with Netflix. I also have a subscription to Amazon Music unlimited which can be used throughout the house (which is Alexa smart home throughout, 4 devices, hive heating, lights etc).

Depending on how long you contract for - I would most likely arrange for a weekly cleaner.

About me; well i’m 32 and a professional who works 50 hours a week. I have 2 cats (they are very very friendly but it would be very important that you like animals). I enjoy socialising, going for after work drinks, the cinema and the great outdoors. I travel frequently with work and love to go on holiday as much as possible!

I’m a non-smoker and would prefer it if you were too! I’m really easy going and easy to get on with.
