Shared living room

Bright en-suite room available in Verde, right next to St James’ Park. The location is ideal if you study at the Business School or around the Helix area - it’s across the road from the Business School, the Frederick Douglass Centre and the Urban Sciences Building. Main campus is only a short walk away, and the closest Metro stop is about two minutes from the door.

The room is on the 5th floor, with lift and stair access.
You’d be joining a flat of five in total. At the moment there’s a mix of guys and girls, with students from different course levels (Foundation through to Postgrad). Everyone’s friendly, easy-going and respectful with noise and cleaning, and the atmosphere in the flat is very chilled.

The room itself has a small double bed with storage underneath, a good-sized desk with shelves and drawers built in, and plenty of space to keep things organised. There’s also a wardrobe with drawers at the bottom, hanging space, and extra room at the top. The bathroom is private and has a proper shower door rather than a curtain.

The shared kitchen has enough space for everyone and a good amount of cupboard storage for each person. It also comes with a TV, two sofas and bar stools at the island, and the TV licence is already covered by the building.

Verde offers some great shared facilities too, including a gym, cinema room, large common area and a secure bike store. It’s a really sociable building and generally a nice place to live.
