Double room

The cottage was built in about the 1880's, and has all the quirks of an old cottage! The bedroom is a double, with a shared bathroom. The living room has a wood burning stove which is lovely on cold winter nights. The kitchen is spacious, with a microwave, fridge, freezer and range. There is a dining room that can seat 6. Outside is a small paved area with table for summer nights when its warm. The cottage would be shared with me and my cat Geiger.
The cottage lies just outside of Edinburgh - a 30 - 35 minute bus journey in. The cost is £4.00 for a day ticket. The last bus back out of town is 10.30pm Mon-Thurs and Sunday, and 11.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The cottage is only 5 minutes from the airport by taxi. There is now a direct bus to the airport leaving once an hour at about 10 minutes past the hour. There are also cycle pathways nearby, with one 10 mile one providing a route into the city centre avoiding all the traffic!
The property lies on a main road but at night its nice and peaceful. There is on street parking for a car.
