Spacious Double Room In Large House W/ Home Office

My house is on the border between Harborne and Edgbaston, opposite the allotments. I moved out of my apartment mainly because I wanted some outdoor space, but didn’t wish to move far from the city centre. I’d prefer to share the house with somebody, so I plan to rent one of the spare rooms.

The house is in a good location for people working in the QE hospital, those that need to get to the m5 motorway without hitting city centre traffic, and has good transport links to the city centre too (regular buses, or the train from university station).

The rented room also comes with a separate home office, which you can use to work from home of course, as well as store clothes, since I’ve installed a clothes rail, shoe rack, and drawer.

As well as all the usual things one would expect (dishwasher, washing machine, separate dryer etc), I’m creating a cardio studio in one of the front rooms, with rowing machine, bike etc which u are most welcome to use. There’s smart lighting and Alexa throughout. Netflix, Virgin media, super fast broadband. Up to date alarm system with key fob and ring security. Hive intelligent thermostatic heating. Nespresso machine. BBQ.

I’m a doctor, love travelling, mountain climbing, scuba diving, skiing, rugby and judo. Regularly train in the gym. I don’t smoke, am single, and live with my cat ! Ideally I’m looking for someone like minded.

There’s plenty of parking on the street outside. We wouldn’t be sharing a bathroom since, and I’m flexible on moving dates.
