Room in two bed flat

I have one bedroom available to rent in two bedroom flat from 8th of February 2024. Date is flexible, so moving in few days before or after is possible. Long and Short term are welcome.

Flat has two bedrooms, one bathroom and kitchen/living room with Juliet balcony.
Flat is in a very nice and quiet building that is situated right on the canal. It has concierge which takes care of the mail and parcels. There is also a gym that can be used by residents of the building. Flat comes with secure car park space is included in the price too.

Little shop is just outside of the building as well as a local restaurant.
Tesco and Morrisons are 10 minutes walk away and Lidl is 15 minute canal walk away!
City Centre and New Street Station are 15 minute walk away from the flat by the canal. There are bus stops all around the building.
Price of the bedroom would be £695 a month and that includes Internet and Water Bill, Council Tax, Gym and Car park space. The only thing to pay on top is electricity bill as it differs every month.

Bedroom is completely furnished. It comes with big king size bed with storage under it, big built in closet, chest of drawers, desk and a chair.
Kitchen is fully equipped. Comes with kettle, toaster, microwave, washing machine, big fridge/freezer.

My name is Kat. I am 27 years old and I have been living in the UK for nearly 8 years now! I am originally from Croatia. I came here for university to study hair and makeup for film, tv and theatre. Now I am self employed and work in a small independent special effects studio doing prosthetics for film and collectible busts for film collectors.
I work pretty much every day, so you'd have plenty of peace and quiet, but as I am flexible with my working hours so I usually spend mornings/early afternoon cooking or catching up with cleaning.
I am very clean and tidy, so a big must for me is to have clean and tidy flatmate!
This flat has been my home since 2020, so looking for someone that will also treat it as a home. My style is very cozy and homely, so if you are looking for minimalism, this is definitely not a place for you :D I also love to decorate the flat for Halloween and Christmas, so you’d have to be okay with that!

When making a request please tell me if you are looking for short or long term rent. Date you’d like to move in and a bit about yourself as it is extremely important to me I have a flatmate that I think I would get along with! Someone with similar interest/way of life would be great, but not a necessity!
