As my wonderful flatmate Katey is moving out to buy a house, I'm looking for a new flatmate to share this beautiful 2-bedroom flat right by the canal. The flat is located near Brindley Place and, although it's quite central, it's nice and quiet. We also have a small south-facing balcony overlooking the canal, which is perfect for sitting in the sun and enjoying a beer during the summer months!
Your room is an ensuite double bedroom overlooking the canal. The flat is furnished, and the bedroom includes a double bed, a chest of drawers, two bedside tables, and a wardrobe. The rent doesn't include bills. The council tax band is E, and we currently pay about £55 for energy, £15 for water, and £15 for Wi-Fi per person.
I'm looking for someone tidy and respectful. Ideally, I'd prefer someone who doesn't work remotely from home full-time. Unfortunately, pets and smoking are not allowed in the flat.
A little bit about myself: I work for a hotel as Head of Sustainability and Ethics, and I also teach at their cookery school, mostly baking. If you like good sourdough bread and cinnamon buns, this could be your perfect home!
Please note that you'll have a contract with the agency, and they will carry out the reference checks. There may also be a possibility that the rent increases when we renew the contract. The move-in date is flexible, but it can't be later than 1st May.
