Big Double Room, Best location 😁

The large master bedroom in my 2nd floor flat next to New Street Station is available. I’m mostly staying with my partner in a different city, so you’ll basically have the place to yourself a lot of the time! This place is brilliant for anyone working in the city centre, or travelling from New Street / Moor Street Station frequently.

Room is available from 13th July for at least a few months, but may be longer, depending on the cladding works completing on time (mentioned below).

There’s a bright and homely open plan kitchen / living / dining area, and a bathroom with bath/shower. The master bedroom has a desk, double bed, and large fitted wardrobe, as well as multiple shelving units for loads of storage.

I’m happy for you to treat the place as your own (except obviously my room). I or a friend will occasionally stay over for a few days / weekend every month, but that’s it. Also, the sofa is an IKEA double bed sofa, so if you have friends over they can stay on that.

Price stated is for 1 person, for a couple there's an extra £50/month so £1045. But this includes all bills: council tax, internet, electricity, water. Note however that there is a generous upper limit on electricity at £140/month, above which the remainder must be paid if you use a lot of electricity. (typical monthly bill is only £100). Parking space is extra available upon request for an extra £80/mo, otherwise there is no parking. TV license not included.

There’s some cladding works going on for the next several months, so there’s scaffolding on the building, but there is still good light through the windows and there’s not too much disturbance from this. At some point the workers will need access to the flat for a day or two, and measures will be taken to minimise inconvenience.

The building has a concierge, a lift, and video intercom.

Flat also has:
- App-controlled central heating (note this can be a cold flat in winter months)
- Dish washer, washing machine / dryer
- Large Fridge / Freezer
- Kettle, Toaster. Microwave & Oven Combi, Hob. Note, hob's built-in oven is not working.
- Basic kitchenware / plates / cutlery etc.
- Bath with shower in family bathroom
- Loads of storage space
- Note duvet, pillows etc. are not provided
