Lovely cozy ensuite room, near the city center available from 11 Sept. Viewings available from 1st Sept.

£550 for the full month. We can accommodate short lettings or long term, very flexible.

The house is situated in a quiet and safe cul-de-sac, Cambridge Crescent, off Springbank Road in Edgbaston.

This room is ideal for quiet students and working professionals who need to be centrally located.

Bus stop 3 mins walk away (next to a 24 hour McDonald's) buses to the city centre takes 5-6 mins, stops in front of the Bullring or Grand Central/New Street station) or walk 20-25 mins, opposite direction bus to selly oak takes 10-12 mins.

The bright double bedroom (new laminate flooring) has a single bed (memory foam mattress) with an ensuite shower/toilet. Built-in wardrobe, small desk, and chair, bedside drawer. The room also has a fridge (new)/kettle/microwave (new)/basic cutlery, small clothes airer, and heater for the winter. There is also central heating.

For communal use: hairdryer, iron, and ironing board, washing machine.

Communal kitchen with gas top cooker/ rice cooker/steamer and oven. Big back garden with lots of plants. Shed for bike storage access via the rear garden.

You will have sole use of the parking space on the driveway or there is public parking n front of the house (cul-de-sac).

There is shared broadband, rental costs include all bills water, gas, electricity and council tax (subject to fair average usage). Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarms in place. Annual safety gas boiler services in place.

The living room is 'not' considered a communal space.

Less than 10 mins drive you can get to Bullring, Morrisons, Tesco/University of Birmingham, Cannon Hill park/ Aldi/ Edgbaston Cricket ground, Selly oak/ QE hospital/ City hospital/Birmingham Children's Hospital. Five Ways 0.5 miles / Birmingham New Street 0.9 miles.

You would be sharing with a retired Grandpa (fully vaccinated), who speaks basic English and fluent Hakka, Mandarin, and Cantonese. The daughter will be around a few months of the year.

We are a quiet family and may have the grandkids visiting occasionally.

We would love to have someone who is quiet, non-smoking, and respectful of other cultures.

We would consider long-term Monday to Friday rental also (this is what we did pre-covid).
