Hello :) My name is Emily; I’m soon turning 24, work near Colmore Row, and I’m looking for a new flat mate to move into the flat I currently rent in the Jewellery Quarter. I often work quite long hours, but I love cooking, eating and drinking out, watching Netflix, and having people round.

The flat is situated in the centre of the Jewellery Quarter; about a 2 minute walk to the JQ tram/train station, or a 15/20 minute walk into the centre of Birmingham. We're in walking distance from a large Tesco superstore and a wealth of bars and restaurants.

The spare room comes fully furnished with a double bed, and includes a parking space within a gated area which required fob access. The room isn’t en suite, but the flat has 2 bathrooms/showers so will essentially have your own bathroom to yourself.

The flat has a sitting room which is joined to the dining area, the kitchen includes all the basics (fridge, freezer, 2-in-1 washing machine and tumble drier, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave, gas oven), and additional storage in the hallway. The flat is also on the first floor, and our neighbors above and below are all pretty quiet.

My current flat mate moves out the weekend of the 27/28th April, and I’m looking to stay in the flat myself throughout without a break in tenancy.

Assuming the landlord does not raise his prices between now and April/May, the room costs £450 per month, in addition to a one off administration fee of £65 to the lettings agent and a £650 deposit. The flat isn’t bills included, but we can sort this aspect between ourselves and I can provide you some information about how much I spend on bills currently.
