Looking for someone to join me in a first floor two-bed flat on Northwood Street in the Jewellery Quarter. Ideally you would be able to move in from early September.

My name is Francesca ('Chess' for short), I'm 23 and I have lived in this flat for a year now and love it. I will be a trainee solicitor in Birmingham from September.

I will be working full-time (split between the flat and the office), but I'm quite sociable and do like to spend time with whoever I'm living with. Happy to chill in the lounge over a good Netflix series but also love spending time outside the flat.

I am ideally looking for someone around my age with a job, but am also open to living with a student if we think it'll work! For instance, the flat is really close to University of Law and the School of Jewellery. Someone who wants city living and who is respectful of our shared spaces would be well-suited to living here. I am clean and tidy, but not maniacal by any means.

LGBT+ welcome. And in fact I’m gay too so if that’s a problem, probably best to just move on haha

The location: A two-minute walk from St Paul's Square, the flat is extremely close to a tram stop and walking distance from the city centre (Snow Hill/Colmore Row end). We are lucky to be close to fantastic JQ pubs, restaurants and shops.

The flat itself: It's a 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms situation. Your room comes with use of the larger bathroom which is across the hall from your bedroom. I do not use it because I have a smaller en-suite bathroom. The room is a good size and comes with a double bed, a wardrobe and chest of drawers.

The lounge is quite large for flats of this rent. At one end are the settees/television, and at the other is the kitchen and table. We have all basic appliances (oven, microwave, fridge, freezer), as well as a dishwasher and new washer/dryer fitted by the landlord in Feb 2020. The living space gets good lighting as there are three large windows along one wall.

From my experience of living in the flat this year, I estimate that the total monthly cost is £550 per tenant. This includes:
- Rent
- Electricity
- Water
- Insurance
- Wifi
- TV licence
- Council Tax

I'd be happy to discuss the breakdown with you!

Unfortunately there is not an allocated parking space for you.

Please do get in touch if interested in viewing. I have more pictures as well as a video tour.
