I have a double room available for rent in my modern new build house! Ideal for postgrad/student (easy access to train to get to university) or professionals. No roommates (apart from me). Perfect for those seeking their own space away from overcrowded house shares and having to navigate difficult estate agents.

The house is 5min away from Asda and 7min away from Smethwick Rolfe Street station (which is one stop; 2min ride away from Birmingham New Street Station). Gets you into city centre in no time for less than £3! We also have Smethwick high street 1 min away (around the corner) for all your local amenities and a pure gym close by. Free off street parking is guaranteed with the room. The house is also a short walk to local amenities such as shops, cafes and take-aways on Bearwood Road. The beautiful Victoria park is also right by your door (1 min away and visible from your window) for a bit of greenery and fresh air.

Communal areas are furnished. Bedroom comes with double bed, table and chest of drawers. You also have use of own toilet/shower/bathroom.

No extra charges and I’m happy to be flexible with contract terms.

I have a regular cleaner who cleans the whole house (no extra charge). Extra fast wifi and all bills are covered so you do not need to worry about those increasing energy bills. I do have a pet kitten (Dr. Dusty), she's very friendly and keeps to herself.

I’ve recently completed a masters at the uni of Birmingham and now work from home. I do spend most evening out with my friends or watching Netflix. I WFH (in my office) and occasionally commute to office.

Ideal flatmate would be someone who is working/studying at the uni and is happy to keep to themselves whilst enjoying the house as if it’s their own 😊
