Hi!
We are currently looking for a housemate to move into our vacant room in a large flat in the middle of Chichester town centre. The flat is situated above Marks & Spencers in North Street, with access to the flat directly from North Street. The flat is on the second floor and very spacious - it's a quirky and beautiful space, and is a listed building. The communal areas are all very large, including a kitchen/dining area, lounge with access to one of the bedrooms, and bathroom with separate shower and lovely, long bath (I'm 5 ft 10, and can lay down flat in it!!)
The room is approximately 4mx4m so it will comfortably fit a double bed and other furniture - there are two built in wardrobes/cupboards too (shown in picture). Aside from the built in bits, the room is unfurnished. The rest of the flat is fully furnished, but if you have anything to bring then we can always add it in!
A bit about us...
You will be living with Lizzie, 28 and Emma, 23. Both of us work in the local area and are home most evenings, sometimes staying out at friends or working late/overnight as we work shifts or away from home.
We like to socialise as a house, movie nights and dinners etc. and we are both fun, easy going, relatively clean/tidy people. Neither of us are massive party animals, we do go out (don't worry!) but you'll only occasionally find us coming home in the early hours of the morning! We have a large flat with a big cooking/eating space, so you would be welcome to bring friends/family over anytime.
In terms of what we are looking for as housemates, we are looking for someone friendly, clean/tidy and easy going. As we said before, we are relatively clean/tidy - not clean freaks, not slobs! We are after somebody who has a similar cleaning ethic to us - not afraid to run the hoover round, but won't go crazy over the occasional crumb or two! Also, if you are into frequent socialising into the crazy hours of the morning, then this flat sadly isn't for you, as we both value our sleep! Please note we are looking for professionals, not students.
Lastly, there isn't any specific parking for the flat - there are public car parks around (St Cyriacs, Northgate), and on street parking before 9am and after 5.30pm Monday - Saturday, free all day Sunday. I tend to park my car on the outskirts of chichester and walk everywhere, alternatively you can purchase a permit from the council for the Festival Theatre carpark.
If there is anything you would like to know please drop us a line!
Viewing of this large and beautiful flat is highly recommended to get an idea of how nice it is!
We look forward to hearing from you :)
