You will be a tenant in a friendly house, not a lodger. This wonderful home is located on the Maidenbower. , The current tenants are all female. We offer a comfortable living environment. Holding deposit of £150 secures the room, which is deducted from the first month's rent.

This good quality and excellent value accommodation on the original part of Maidenbower Village, with lower housing density is close to Three Bridges station (a brisk 15 minute walk or more leisurely 20 minute stroll ) or an easy 5 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop. There are regular bus services into Crawley via Three Bridges and onto Gatwick Airport. The house is surrounded by higher end properties and is in a friendly neighbour environment. Nuffield Health fitness club is within walking distance from the property.

The room has high quality laminate flooring as well as 'Sanderson' blinds that are more effective than normal curtains at keeping the light out if sleep is required during daylight hours. The en suite is a good size with a shower, wash basin and dual flush toilet. The room has plenty of storage space: a large double wardrobe, chest of drawers as well as two bedside tables and table lamps and good sized safe. There is a wall mounted 32" TV; a 'Google TV' box makes the TV smart with all the usual apps. The storage bed has a mattress and memory foam mattress topper. Please note that this is a shared house, we like to see it as a home - the doors do not have locks, hence the offer of the in room safe for piece of mind and security. We are selective in our choice of tenant at the property.

The house has a large well equipped kitchen, with kitchen table, as well as a utility room, dining room with dining table and a large lounge with a large screen smart Panasonic 3D TV. Faster Fibre optic broadband is with Plusnet. The utility room has a washer/dryer as well as a full sized tumble dryer (no additional charge but we ask tenants to dry outside when possible!) and space in a refrigerator in the kitchen and also cupboard space for your dry foods.

There are local shops with a chemist (Boots) and a small supermarket (Co-op). There's lots of green space on this part of the Maidenbower.

Outside there is a garden which attracts lots of wildlife and is nice to sit in on the garden furniture on the patio in the summer. There are two deep fish ponds so unfortunately children are not allowed on the property.

Communication in the house is via Whats App so if you take the room you agree to be part of the friendly Whats App group. Please note that the current tenants are majority female.

The security deposit is placed with the Government backed Deposit Protection Service (D. P. S.).

Included in the rent are quality housekeeping items - laundry liquid, dishwasher tablets and spray surface cleaners. We buy good quality environmentally friendly (where we can) products. The communal areas are cleaned weekly by a professional cleaner; of course each tenant is also responsible to cleaning up after themselves especially in the kitchen after cooking. Health and safety is important to us; the house is protected with a hard wired fire alarm system and fire doors as well as security lighting. The house cleanliness and security is checked by the landlords normally once a month.

The house has gas fired central heating with a large efficient combination boiler which delivers on demand hot water. The building is cavity wall insulated and fully U. P. V. C. double glazed so it keeps warm during those winter nights.

We welcome applications from tidy, considerate friendly people who are easy to get on with. We especially welcome female applicants as the house has only female tenants at present (the current occupant of the room on offer is male - who is obviously vacating the property).
