Lovely sunny single room (or small double) in a shared house with new kitchen, bath/shower room and second toilet, and new carpets.

In a light and spacious house in a quiet neighbourhood (award winning design when the houses were built). We are looking for a professional person. Note, there is a potential discount for junior pilots (please enquire), the house has aviation connections. The existing tenants are friendly and get on well. Some have stayed for 5 or more years each. Existing housemates are three females, in their twenties.

Job-wise, current housemates include:- graduate engineer in a global research company, a Speech and language therapist, and air traffic control.
Recent housemates include vets, dentist, pilots, cabin crew, specialist nurse in the NHS, doctor of zoology, mandarin language teacher, geneticist in pharmaceuticals, wine expert, international lobbyist for a charity, IT manager, artist / book illustrator, special needs teacher. Several have stayed for five years. Nationalities are or have been British (mainly), Hungarian, New Zealand, South African, Polish, Spanish, French, Australian, Irish, Indian, Malaysian, Slovakian.

The house has an aviation heritage, junior pilots welcome as a quiet location and on the Gatwick side of Horsham.

The house is within walking and / or cycling distance of Horsham town as well as Littlehaven station, and also has excellent bus routes. The back garden has a patio as wide as the house.

Plenty of parking (free of charge) is in front of the house or in the street within 30 metres. No permits necessary.

Bills are extra and include one quarter of:- the community charge (approx £49 / month), and gas, elec, water, and broadband, (approx £50 / month). Council tax band D.

The landlord and lady live elsewhere, and have lived abroad and enjoy travel, sailing, and languages.
