Bright, breezy home, 10 minutes walk from the sea

I have a light, newly decorated en suite double room available to rent in my house. A short walk to the sea and Lancing station, with a 20 minute ride to Brighton town centre.

The room: a furnished, modern double room with a desk and built in wardrobe, next to your own private shower room.

The house: Light and quiet with a wraparound garden and lots of places to sit and relax in the summer. There are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a downstairs toilet, large kitchen and spacious lounge.

The location : the area is quiet and safe, with a Co-op nearby and Sainsbury’s a mile’s drive away. Worthing town centre is a 10 minute bus ride with a bus stop close at hand. Plenty of free parking outside the house.

The housemates: My name’s Julia and I am a piano and driving teacher with 2 grown up, moved out children. I work full time and I am out a fair few evenings, doing modern jive dancing. I also like cinema, cooking and spending time with my kids.

I love having visitors and have hosted many foreign exchange students prior to now.

The other member of the household is Tigger, my old rescue cat. He’s 12, very friendly and loves a cuddle in the evenings on any willing lap.

It’s a very easy commute to Brighton and Worthing and 1.20 hr to London Victoria/Bridge.

It’s not a party house and is best suited to someone looking for a tranquil retreat near the sea.

FYI My work means I’m out of the house all day so if you have a hybrid job with some WFH, in the autumn we would have to discuss a pro rata extra bill for day time heating as fuel prices are now so high.
