Lovely light double room available in family house

The first floor bedroom

We are a friendly, happy family with 2 young children (aged 2 and 4) who are looking to rent out a room in our large house which is just by the sea here in Worthing.

We have had Lodgers for many years so are used to sharing our space. We have a large kitchen/diner and a living room you are welcome to share with us. There is also a playroom for the kids, so we have plenty of space.

We have a lovely lodger on the top floor at the moment, but she is back and forth between here and Ireland so not around all the time.

We are looking for someone who is friendly and easy going, who is happy to live with a family. We have been lucky enough to share our home with some amazing people who have become great friends, we enjoy sharing meals as a household sometimes, and having a beer in the evening when the children are eventually in bed. Equally we respect your personal space and are happy If you prefer not to get too involved in family life!

We are vegetarian but don’t mind if you eat meat.

You will have a large bedroom and Access to the large family bathroom (with toilet, large shower and roll too bath) just next to your room. We have an en suite so only use the family bathroom for baths, so it’s mainly just for you.

Your room is very light and sunny and overlooks the back garden.

Our house is just a few houses up from the seafront so just a couple of minutes’ walk from the beach.

It’s about 10-15 minutes’ walk into town along the beach from our house. The house is also really handy if you work at the hospital, it’s a 5 minute walk.

We aren’t able to accept anyone who works from home - sorry - it’s just a bit much as we both work from home and the kids are often around too.

Also, sorry we aren’t looking for a couple to move in.
