Hello!

We’re looking for a young professional or post grad student to take our top floor double room in our lovely 4 bed house in the Methleys!

Sadly, our housemate is moving in with their boyfriend so we are all looking for a replacement from now until the end of our fixed term contract (Aug 2021, potential to extend!). We have a friendly private landlord and we sort our own bills out together.

The house is super cosy and homely. It has recently been refurbished and we have heaps of space with a separate living room and dining room which leads to a kitchen. We also have a little garden area at the front of the house which can be a lovely sun trap! We share 1 bathroom (shower) on the first floor and have cleaners that come round every 2 weeks!

The bedroom is on the second floor and it’s a huge room with plenty of space (helpful if you’re working from home). It has a gorgeous wooden beam feature and a nice big window which lets a lovely amount of light in. It comes with a double bed, 2 bedside tables, a wardrobe and chest of drawers. It also has a really handy storage space behind the wooden door!

The house is in a great location with Lidl, Aldi and Co-Op conveniently close by. We’re also in easy access of Glenhow Valley park, Chapel Allerton Park, Potternewton Park and Sugarwell Hill for walks and fresh air.

We are three women aged 22-24, one of us is a PhD student and one is working as a teaching assistant (so has to go into work every day). This is a really friendly and sociable house, we love hanging out in the evenings, chatting, watching tv, playing games, going on walks, doing crafts and doing meals together (we’re vegan & vegetarians). We would love to find someone who can become our friend as well as a housemate and will contribute to making the house a home.

It’s really important for us to find someone that will fit in and would be happy to follow all the up to date Covid guidelines in place. We’d like to make our home a safe environment, so you will definitely find that here. It’s also important that you are lgbt+ friendly.
