Affordable room available in a warm two-bed terraced house in Headingley!

Good-sized living room (with space for home-working) and kitchen (all mod cons.) The living room is south-facing so there’s lots of natural light. The front yard also gets a lot of sun with a nice view downhill into Leeds: a great outdoor space for a beer and a BBQ in spring/summer! The available bedroom is on the small side so you’d be paying less rent than me to compensate. It has a double bed, wardrobe, and room for a small desk etc..

Good location: 20 minutes to town on the bus/train, 5 minutes to Headingley on foot. On-the-street parking at the front and at the back. Storage space in the kitchen and in the back yard (for outdoor things).

Bills are currently around £150 each a month (gas/electric, water, internet, council tax).

The landlord is friendly, eager to please and comes whenever something needs doing.

A bit about me: I'm looking for someone sociable and considerate to live with. I moved here from Manchester for a lecturer job (in popular music) at the University of Leeds so I would be interested in living with music fans and academics. I’m also vegan so it would be nice to live with a herbivore but it's not a deal breaker. I'm basically up for living with anyone nice/cool, just no Tories lol.

Music-wise, I’m into soul, reggae, hip hop, rock etc.. Although I'm a musician, I'm not always playing music loudly. I can rarely be bothered to plug anything in.
