Brook House, is the oldest building in Holywell Green, Halifax, dating back to 1706. It is on four floors and is full of character. Most people fall in love with it straight away. The kitchen and log fire usually steel people's hearts!

This luxury room has a kingsize bed (extremely comfortable!), a built-in wardrobe and is well presented with enough room for a desk.

The ensuite has a rain shower and was modernised a couple of years ago.

This was my family home. My three children have all left to venture out in life and now and I am not around very much, so I have this lovely big house that is fun to share.

You will love the modern large kitchen/diner with an American style fridge/freezer, ceramic hob and granite worktops. It is a great place to cook and chill out in.

There is a balcony overlooking a beautiful brook and waterfall. It is a great spot for bird watching and a cup of tea or glass of wine. In the summer you can get the garden furniture out and sit on the deck by the brook to catch the sun.

I am looking for a clean, professional person (male or female) to rent the room.

This is a beautiful house and well worth looking at. The M62 is only three minutes away and is ideal for commuting to Leeds or Manchester. Huddersfield, Halifax and Brighouse are approximately 5 miles away.

I am a writer and a photographer, so I am either working from home or traveling. I LOVE walking in the hills and they are often the answer to my stresses!
