Furnished single room available in a beautiful, welcoming house share. Seeking likeminded professional keen on bio products, cooking, creating music, painting, gardening, playing cards and going out for a bevvy every once in a while! It’s a working household so we’re looking for someone with their own things going on; ideally out the house during the day or night if on shifts (house is already like this). We occasionally have a shared house meal but it’s mostly also a quick catchup and bit of banter in the kitchen in passing etc..

The house is located on a peaceful street within short reach of local shops, cafes, pubs, churches etc & Horsforth train station taking you into Leeds within 10 minutes or Harrogate (good stops, walks and shops along the way).

The furnished bedroom is private, cosy, recently redecorated with storage space under the bed, a wardrobe and more extra space in the loft.

Shared areas consist of a kitchen, living/dining room and bathroom with an electric shower, heater & deep bath which is pretty epic.

We share the cleaning so place is always neat & clean; or you can pay £50 pm towards a cleaner for your share.

Kitchen is equipped with essential gear, new washer drier combi and double oven with hobs.

Other items in the home for use: clothes horse, outdoor washing line, sofas, dining table, vinyl player, printer, electric piano, harp and fiddle.

Plenty of outdoor space and greenery for good weather and the garden is being spruced up now it’s spring time. The back garden gets sun until mid afternoon and the front yard in the afternoon/early evening. Neighbours are good, quiet, they say hello and we mostly keep ourselves to ourselves.

Bills included in rent: water, gas, elec, internet, tv licence, council tax, maintenance.

There are fresh produce deliveries locally if that’s your thing (dairy, dairy alternatives & organic locally grown fruit & veg), or there’s a big Morrisons 15 mins walks and a Morrisons daily 3 mins walk at the end of the road with a post office.

Smokers welcome to smoke outside.

There are steps down to the house, females are spiritual & the guy is a cool dude. Home is LGTBQ+ friendly and diverse from race to hobbies, cognitive differences and so much more.

I’m a working professional (early thirties) into Pilates, meditation, DJing, piano playing, gigs, philosophy, psychology & deep convos, travelling, positive mindsets, old age wisdom, sustainable fashion, enjoy going to church and the occasional rave. Bit of an activist, I have quite strong views, support a coalition gov. and love good debates and chilled discussions about all sorts of topics.

Working towards a permaculture lifestyle at the house (yep, also a huge dreamer believer), growing own fruit and veg & gathering compost etc. It’s a calm, mindful, cosy home full of serenity and laughter.

The contract will be a house share / lodging agreement for 6 months and rolling thereafter.

Pets potentially welcome dependant on lifestyle & if other housemates are ok with animals being around. There will be a pet deposit (had a bad experience prev. so not taking chances!!).
