Large double room, newly refurbished, Morley

This Victorian home is currently being extensively refurbished to a high standard throughout (new carpets, walls painted, new light fittings etc). The room will be available at the end of January 2020 (although this date is flexible). As the house is being refurbished, I am unable to post photographs but will do as soon as the rooms are ready.

The shared living area on the ground floor includes a comfortable and smart leather sofa and chair, smart TV, dining table and clean modern kitchen (with two ovens and washing machine).

On the first floor is the large bedroom available to rent with a king size bed, chest of draws, wardrobe and bedside table. It also benefits from a walk in cupboard with a rail for clothes and additional storage space. The room is currently being refurbished to a high standard with a new carpet and freshly painted walls and ceiling, all neutral decor so you can accessorise to suit your style.

Also on the first floor is the bathroom with bath and new shower. It is light, clean and newly painted white.

On the second floor are two smaller bedrooms, one I use as a study and the other is mine. It is nice that the bedrooms are on separate floors for privacy. In the future I may also let one of these bedrooms out too and move myself into one.

There is also a cellar which can be used for extra storage if needed.

To the outside is a small gravelled garden area with space to park your car.

I work as a secondary school teacher and I am a friendly, clean person. I am looking for someone who is also easy going, nice to talk to and will tidy up after themselves. I like to cook and would happily cook meals together if you wanted on an evening/weekend. I use the local gym 2 or 3 nights a week and usually spend a couple of nights at my boyfriends house, which will give you the place to yourself sometimes.

All bills are included (high speed broadband, Netflix, gas, electric, water, council tax). I am also going to get a cleaner in once a fortnight when you move in.

The house is just a couple of minutes walk to Morley train station and it is just 2 short stops to Leeds city centre, perfect if you are commuting there. There are also a couple of new trendy bars less than 5 minutes walk away. It is also just 5 minutes to White Rose Shopping Centre and has easy access to M62 and M621. It takes just 10 minute drive to Leeds city centre.
