Perfect location, situated at the top of Park Street, overlooking Saltaire village - 5min walk to Saltaire train station, 12min to Shipley station (Leeds - 15 min; Bradford 10 mins), this recently renovated 1890s house is warm, quiet, very clean and welcoming.

All bills, fast WiFi, towels and bedding (washed weekly) and daily continental breakfast are included.

- About the house
I live here with my 10 yr old daughter (50% of the time). We normally host English language learners (from around the world) - international students, university professors, interns, language assistants... Due to the current pandemic, and travel restrictions, and fewer international guests, we now have two rooms available, indefinitely.

- Lovely rooms
We offer an easy-going, quiet, friendly place to live. All rooms are light, fresh, clean, with big comfortable double bed, workspace, storage, fast wifi, USB charging, and stunning views across Saltaire and the moors beyond. We provide all bedding (and towel, if needed), laundered every week.

- Facilties
There's one shared bathroom, for you and 2 or 3 other guests professionally cleaned, each week. (My daughter & I use our own private bathroom). We have a fully-equipped kitchen with all the appliances and utensils you'd need, fridge & freezer space, storage, and a big kitchen island to eat at. We also have a nice, south facing backyard with seating and planted borders.

- Meals
Breakie is included - help yourself to cereal, toasts, tea / coffee, etc - and I can also prepare meals 5 nights (Sun - Thu), mainly plant-based (but don't mind meat / fish dishes for guests/housemates), for an extra £20 / week.

- The area
Nearby (2-5mins walk) are the cafes, bars and restaurants of Saltaire, supermarkets (Coop, Asda, Aldi) in walking distance, and we're surrounded by beautiful countryside in all directions with easy access (5 min walk) to the River Aire and Leeds / Liverpool Canal, and Shipley Glen, Baildon Moor and Northcliffe Woods (all 10-15 min walk) - perfect for walks / running.

If you're looking for a warm, safe, quiet, clean home, you can just walk into, with everything ready, and maybe have an interest in travel, languages, the outdoors, (possibly thinking of trying a plant-based diet), you'll be happy here. We're easy-going, happy to help you settle in, but equally leave you to do your own thing.

Enhanced DBS check - because my daughter lives with me part of the time, you will need to show an Enhanced DBS certificate before moving in. For stays of 3 month or more, I will knock the cost off your first month's rent.
